Herstory of the Divine Mother
For thousands of years the Divine Mother was accepted and integrated in the spiritual and social life of all people on this planet. Her spiritual consciousness is re-emerging from within. Women are taking an important part in bringing her spiritual qualities of healing, compassion, nurturing, unconditional love and earth and body-connected spirituality and morality back to us. Humanity has been waiting for a long time to experience again the soothing touch of the Divine Mother. We are calling in the Cosmic Divine Mother inside ourselves.
All over the world in many different spiritual traditions has the Divine Mother been loved, honored and adored. She represents a part of us and the Universal Spirit, that tends to express all our feminine motherly qualities. At the dawn of civilization and now again She appears to us in visions and inner transformations as The Mother, the Source and Protectress of all life; as Mary, the Mother of God; as Sophia, eternal wisdom and truth; as Gaia, mother nature; as Kali, the fierce Goddess; as Quan Yin, the Goddess of compassion. She has been called by a thousand names. In our time She has awakened again to give a new foundation to our world, of connectedness with all life and of universal healing love and wisdom.
